Tweeting

I know I've said before that Twitter is stupid, but I joined today just to see what it's all about.  More on this later.

Things haven't changed much...

I was pleasantly surprised last week when I found my best friend from high school on the internet.  Well, I've had a couple of besties in high school, but the one that I remember the most (and was the saddest about when we lost touch) was my friend Wendy.  We had so much in common, and we went through a lot together during high school.  We were both a little different than the rest of our families, which made life a little bit harder at times.  

How did I find her, you might ask?  With that wonderful tool called Facebook.  I happened to find her brother and messaged him to please please please send her my e-mail address.  Luckily, he was more than happy to oblige, and now I get to talk to my oldest and dearest friend pretty regularly.  

I don't think that this would be possible on Twitter.
